- Micro Soft Word Document Settings: Ensure that the document settings in the Word Layout Tab are set to the parameters needed (margins, orientation, paper size, etc.).
- Microsoft Word Printer Settings: In the Print dialog box, you can:
- Select Color or B&W printer.
- Select Landscape or Portrait to select paper orientation needed by the student (usually Landscape).
- Review Properties option.
- Paper size: tabloid or 11x17.
- Double sided option: off.
- Google Docs: You can change the page orientation to landscape, reduce the page margins, etc. Then, you can download the document as a PDF to print.
REMINDER: If Go Print printers are not working for this type of printing, you can print from the Reference desk computers and send the docs to the staff printer in the back. Because you are logged into the Reference computer, you must use the Reference print codes to release the print jobs. The codes are located in the Reference Passwords tab of the Reference Manual lib guide or in the Overdues tab of the Reference Manual binder at the Ref desk.
