Patron Conduct in the Library

All patrons are expected to follow Student Code of Conduct located in the Student Handbook when in the library. The degree of response by library staff for unacceptable behavior or violation of college/district policies and procedures will be dependent on the degree of violation up to or including contacting campus police.

In addition, library staff will enforce the following library rules:

1. Disruptive activity/behavior in the library is not allowed. (ex:  loud talking, high volume on devices, etc.)
2. Only covered drinks and small snacks are allowed in the library.
3. Talking on a cell phone is only allowed in the Cell Phone Zone.

Patrons violating these rules will be asked to stop the activity/behavior immediately.  If the behavior continues, the patron will be asked to leave the library for the day.  Additional violation of the rules will result in disciplinary action including loss of library privileges.
