A exhibit honoring the work of Willie Velásquez will be on display at the Panel/Platica event. Personal items from social activist icon Willie Velasquez will be displayed at this event. He was the founder of the Southwest Voter Registration Education Project (SVREP). His organization helped paved the way for millions of Latinos to have a voice in the democratic process.
