Need some inspiration? Visit one of our wonderful local museums! Most offer discounts to students with their student ID card, and several offer free admission on specific days and times. Take a camera or a sketchbook and let your imagination run wild!

SAMA houses the largest and most comprehensive collection of ancient Egyptian, Greek and Roman, as well as Asian, art in the southern United States. SAMA also has a significant collection of Latin American art, from Pre-Columbian times to the present, showcased in the Nelson A. Rockefeller Center for Latin American Art. A growing contemporary art collection balances masterpieces with notable Texas and regional art. The museum also offers special exhibitions, classes, films, concerts, gallery talks and more.

Get Creative San Antonio! The City of San Antonio's Department of Arts & Culture helps make San Antonio an exciting place to live and visit by developing and marketing a wide range of programs and events. The Department also advocates for the growth of the local creative industry by increasing awareness of the impact and value of arts and culture to the city.
Guadalupe Cultural Arts Center This cultural center in the heart of San Antonio's Westside offers live theater, film, dance, music, festivals and more.
Artpace Artpace contributes to San Antonio’s cultural life by providing an accessible facility with challenging exhibitions. Artpace offers an artist-in-residence program and free educational events for adults, children and artists.
Centro de Artes Centro de Artes is a two-story exhibit space located in the heart of downtown San Antonio’s Zona Cultural, dedicated to telling the story of the Latino experience with a focus on South Texas through San Antonio and regional art, history and culture, and showcasing Latino artists and Latino-themed artworks.
