This is one of the ProQuest ebooks we now have through TexShare.  It clearly gives a description of what you can/cannot do.  The book can be read online or downloaded using Adobe Digital Editions (on computer) or the BlueFire reader (on device).  You will have to create a personal account, but you can keep the book for up to 21 days.  Adobe Digital is also tied to a personal account and so users who want to use it for download have to do so on their personal computer.

This is an EBSCO eBook. Only one person can access the book (open it and read it) at a time.  If you have a free EBSCO user account you can download the book for 24 hours.

EBSCO eBook.  This particular title is in the public domain and is really a scan from Project Gutenberg, so it looks more like a paper than a real book.  It does have unlimited user access.

This is EBSCO’s version of a book within an article database collection.  When you click on “View eBook” you’re taken to the publication details of the book which has the same format as the publication details for a magazine or journal.  In this case there is only one issue and to get to it you have to click on the year (2017) and then the exact date and then you either get a list of chapters or (in this case) a single link to the full text, which in this particular case is only two pages.  More pamphlet than a book.

The following is an example of an EBSCO eBook within an article database with several chapters:

Once you click on one, just like with EBSCO articles visible in pdf, you can jump from section to section and see other chapters.
