LFL

                              Little Free Library Operating Procedures

Responsible Department: Library

Little Free Library boxes are scattered throughout campus and are designed for students, faculty and community with the aim of increasing access to books for readers of all ages and backgrounds. There you will find a wide variety of both adult and young adult fiction and non-fiction books, children's books and some magazines. You are free to take what you want and if you leave a book in return, others will continue to enjoy the service as well.

Distribution of LFL

  1. Bus Stop (adult books)
  2. Natatorium (adult and children’s books)
  3. Ozuna Building (adult books)

Inventory

Inventory is collected primarily through donations.  Book donations are solicited periodically via campus wide email blast (PR services) and book donations internally (library staff).

  1. Books are distributed weekly, during regular on-site work
  2. Approximately 15-20 books are the goal inventory number
  3. Magazines are allowed in the sheds as long as they are in good condition and are appropriate (i.e. Good Housekeeping, Southern Living, Bon Appetit, National Geographic, etc.)
