Our mission is to provide the tools to mend their bodies and restore their dignity, their hope, and possibilities to attain self-sufficiency without abuse. That mission includes reaching out to all sectors in our community, to share our knowledge and experience, so we may enlist them in doing their share to address the intolerable increasing incidence of domestic violence. Some of our most important work has been done with children. It is with children that we have the best chance to address the generational nature of domestic violence. At the same time, we remain sharply focused in the provision of services that challenge the abusive attitudes of perpetrators, in cooperation with the justice system.
